A legal lifeline for victims of domestic abuse.

“I feel like I can breathe for the first time in two weeks today. To just be able to tell you is enough. You’ve help me so much and I can’t thank you enough.”

Domestic Abuse Survivor, Oldham

We offer instant victim referral to professional legal support in making applications for legal aid and civil injunctions, such as non-molestation orders, occupation orders and other domestic abuse protection orders. Our WEPROTECT referal service also provides case updates, in real-time, so that you can monitor the status of your referral throughout the legal process.

Working in partnership with police forces, specialist support service providers, and our legal partners we’ve created the WEPROTECT app – a free and easy way to refer victims of domestic abuse to legal support.

Language isn’t a barrier to referral or accessing our services either as we offer translation and interpretation support at the point of contact. We also offer a technology-driven solution to serve legal documents quickly and efficiently.

We connect

When we founded the Domestic Abuse Alliance, we started a conversation about the power of “Protecting Through Partnership.” This principle remains at the heart of our organisation and operations today. Our referral partners, legal partners, and supporters make our work possible and continue to drive it forward in partnership with us. Together, we are helping to create the best possible outcomes for those living with domestic abuse.
