WEPROTECT – The leading Protective Order Support Service for victims of domestic abuse, has announced a new strategic partnership with Hollie Guard, the award-winning personal safety platform, to enhance safeguarding and improve access to support for those at risk.

The announcement follows a successful launch event that brought together prominent figures from across the domestic abuse sector, law enforcement and the wider safeguarding community. The event marked a significant step in formalising the collaboration and setting out a shared vision.

 

The partnership brings together WEPROTECT’s expertise in securing protective injunctions – including Non-Molestation Orders, Occupation Orders and Domestic Abuse Protection Orders – with Hollie Guard’s innovative personal safety technology, creating a more integrated and victim-centred approach to protection.

By combining civil legal remedies with practical, real-time safety tools, the collaboration aims to ensure victims can access both immediate protection and longer-term support through a seamless pathway designed to increase safety, confidence and empowerment.

Hollie Guard’s platform offers a range of features, including emergency alerts, location sharing, journey monitoring, evidence capture, and rapid access to trusted contacts and emergency services. The technology is widely used across the UK and trusted by police forces, local authorities, universities and other safeguarding organisations.

Through this partnership, victims supported by WEPROTECT will benefit from increased awareness of, and access to, personal safety technology alongside legal protection. The organisations will also explore opportunities to strengthen referral pathways, deliver joint awareness campaigns and collaborate on professional engagement and training initiatives.

As demand for domestic abuse services continues to rise, the partnership reflects a shared commitment to innovation and the growing role of ‘tech for good’ in prevention, protection and recovery. WEPROTECT’s ongoing development of tech-enabled legal support tools further complements Hollie Guard’s platform, creating opportunities to build a more connected and responsive support system.

The app allows users to raise alerts, share their location, record evidence, and notify chosen contacts if they feel at risk or need help.

Hollie Guard Extra builds on this protection by providing access to professional 24/7 monitoring, giving users an additional layer of reassurance. When an alert is raised, trained monitoring centre operators can assess the situation, review the user’s location and evidence, and escalate to emergency services where appropriate.
